Background

Campbell joined Mackenzie Partnership in 1987, becoming an Associate in 1993 and a Director in 2001. He has responsibility the Cost Consultancy team within the practice.

Campbell has been responsible for a wide range of projects in the commercial, retail, education and housing sectors, as well as traditional quantity surveying services and he also has experience in the preparation of Capital Allowance Valuations, Value Management / Engineering Studies. Campbell was actively involved in the development of the firms computerised cost reporting systems, billing and numerous computer applications relevant to the practice’s activities. Campbell also has particular responsibility for Costing Services in relation to M&E Installations and developed an Engineering Services library for the Masterbill system, which is marketed by Masterbill to supplement their standard library.

Campbell is the Deputy Head of the RICS Scottish Quantity Surveying & Construction Faculty Board and is also an RICS APC Assessor.

He also has extensive experience in the preparation of Capital Allowances and Fire Loss Valuations and acting/assisting as expert witness/adjudicator on construction related disputes.
